Alape EW 3: Evolution of a Classic

It’s now 44 years since Goslar-based company Alape developed the built-in washbasin EW 3. The relatively small round basin with the white glaze was designed for installation in horizontal washplace surfaces in sanitary spaces. It was also the first industrially produced basin of its kind.

    Right on time for Sauna Day, the Emser Therme in Bad Ems has enhanced its spa complex with a first for Germany. The new highlight of the modern and attractive wellness centre is the first floating sauna on a river. The two saunas on the River Lahn were implemented by Klafs.
