There’s more demand for hygiene
in the bathroom than ever before. The bathroom sector’s smart solutions for
growing hygiene requirements are a major theme at the ISH digital 2021 too.
The trend
towards using wallpaper in the bathroom undoubtedly brings a very fashionable element to bathroom planning, which otherwise
tends to take a long-term view.
The developments from German bathroom design
labels are showing lifestyle: more colour, more convenience, more furniture, more innovation and a
whole lot of functionality.
The
strictly geometric circle is conquering the bathroom: no other element has
influenced its design so much in recent years as the arc. From 45 to 360 degrees, anything goes – as long as it’s minimalist.

with the boundaries between indoors and outside is common practice in
architecture and interior design and is fuelling the imagination of home
builders and bathroom planners alike: why not have an outdoor bathroom for a
change?
With the introduction of new
hygiene measures around the world, intelligent concepts can play a key role in
public and semi-public spaces. Product solutions for this increased sensitivity
to hygiene are available for the private bathroom too.
Shelfing units have become indispensable in their function as storage
space for an open living space design. And the choice of the right material also
creates a contemporary industrial style.
In his lecture the design journalist and trend expert Frank A. Reinhardt
will be showing what opportunities the current colour trends in interior design
are opening up for the sanitary sector.
