2019, Pop up my Bathroom proved it has its finger on the pulse. The VDS communication campaign was taken up by
the entire industry – and the essentials have now been published in the form of
a trend book.
Colour harmonies are possible
in all colour ranges. What’s important when it comes to designing a
bathroom is that one colour sets the tone while three to four others are used
to underpin the harmonious impression.

Selection: during this year’s leading international trade show for the sanitary
industry, the ISH in Frankfurt, things at the Pop up my Bathroom trend platform
will be pretty colourful.
In his lecture the design journalist and trend expert Frank A. Reinhardt
will be showing what opportunities the current colour trends in interior design
are opening up for the sanitary sector.
The
interior design world’s rediscovery of marble is encouraging the use of blue
sanitaryware. Combined with sand hues, blue creates a style
related to the popular Scandinavian look.
Even
though white is still a popular choice in interior design, it has a hard time
being perceived as an on-trend colour in the bathroom because of its standard
character.
Two
developments are fostering the trend towards a bathroom dipped in green.
Firstly, the longing for natural surroundings in which nature is perceptible as
humankind’s primordial home. And secondly, green is the on-trend colour in
interior design right now.
