Geberit: a modern look & feel for Renova Plan
Renova Plan, a complete bathroom range by
Geberit, is getting a design and function update. From April 2021, it will be
presenting new washbasins with a reduced, slender thickness and a roomy ledge. The furniture portfolio will be extended with additional sizes, a wider
selection of colours and a new side cabinet. With this added variety, the series is intended to provide a
comprehensive product range for the individual furnishing of private bathrooms,
hotels and sanitary facilities in commercial properties.
The design update aims to enhance the
appearance of the washbasins in the range while preserving their classic
simplicity. The thickness of the ceramic, for
instance, has been reduced from 12 to 10 centimetres. In addition, the edges of the washbasins are no longer raised, resulting
in a flat top that provides more space for soap, care products & Co. The new design gives the washbasins a lighter, finer look than before.
Renova Plan with extended range
By increasing the variety of products in
its Renova Plan bathroom series, Geberit wants to permit a multitude of
individual furnishing options for designing the bathroom, as well as suitable
solutions for spaces with unusual floor plans. Therefore, in addition to the existing widths, the range will also
include the sizes 70 and 90 centimetres in future. All the familiar variants for basin- or wall-mounted taps – with or
without overflow – remain available. The Renova Compact series will also include an additional basin width of
65 centimetres with matching vanity cabinet.
For the furniture in the Renova Plan
range, Geberit has developed a modular concept with stylish elements that can
be combined as required. The manufacturer has also optimised the ordering
process: the washbasins can now be conveniently ordered as a set that includes
a matching vanity cabinet – ensuring that customers receive products that are
compatible with one another.
More functionality and new finishes
The vanity cabinets have been equipped
with a new, innovative drawer system. When combined with an optional space-saving trap, the entire drawer can
be used as storage space without the need for a trap cutout. The existing furniture offering is also being extended with a new side
cabinet that has a width of 40 centimetres and can be combined with the Renova
Plan vanity cabinet.
In addition to the existing High Gloss
White and Matt Lava options, Geberit is also launching two wood-effect finishes
– Hickory Walnut and Light Hickory Walnut – that are intended to bring a
natural look to the bathroom. All the surfaces of the bathroom furniture
are made of moisture-resistant material that has been optimised for daily use
in the bathroom.
