The Emory: discreet luxury in Belgravia

Belgravia is one of the most affluent districts in the west centre of
London. This is where the British TV series " Upstairs, Downstairs"
was set and where the all-suite hotel The Emory is located - with a magnificent
view of Hyde Park and just a few minutes away from Buckingham Palace.
From the outside, The Emory appears almost restrained: a façade of pale
stone, bronze and glass. Only the striking roof construction made of steel
masts attracts attention. The exclusive interior, however, reflects the
luxurious aesthetics of its surroundings, as can be seen from the bathroom
design. Here, bathroom fittings from Dornbracht complement the subtle elegance
of the new building from 2024.

The
bathrooms of the luxurious suites are characterised by harmonious compositions
of natural stone, wood, and marble. The colour palette is inviting and bright,
with a predominance of warm champagne, cream, and gold tones. The Dornbracht fittings
with their minimalist shapes and radii complete the elegant ensembles in an impressive
way. In one bathroom, for example, Tara in Chrome forms a cool contrast to the
oak and classic marble washbasin. The fittings are also used as a contrasting
element in other bathrooms: Here, Meta in Brushed Dark Platinum provides an
eye-catching accent, perfectly coordinated with the dark lights and mirror
frames. In another bathroom design, Vaia in Brushed Dark Platinum as a bath
mixer contributes to the atmosphere of clarity and luxury.
