Human Scale:
4. Mental Activities in the Bathroom

03/25

How many great ideas have you had during a revitalising shower? How relaxing can a bath in a free-standing bathtub be? And where better for people to be alone and retreat to a quiet place to think in peace?

However, the bathroom is increasingly becoming a private spa - a stylish place in the home for reflection, relaxation or even undisturbed media consumption. The bathroom is often the only room with a key on the inside of the door, behind which privacy remains untouched. Here you can dance and sing, gamble, do gymnastics half-naked or practise a dialogue or lecture in front of the mirror, or these activities can be disturbed.
