The thermostat’s solid metal housing is fitted with 100 percent Grohe CoolTouch, ensuring that the surface of the thermostat does not become hotter than the water temperature that has been set and making it perfectly safe to touch. Thanks to the TurboStat technology, the water reaches the selected temperature at lightning speed and maintains it reliably for the duration of the shower. With the new Eco aquadimmer, the user automatically saves water when he switches from the bath filler to the hand spray. Universally understandable pictograms indicate the correct button positions for reducing the water consumption of the spray and for full flow.
The new look, created by Grohe’s in-house designers, combines clear aesthetics with enhanced ergonomics. Instead of the traditional round knobs, the Aqua Paddles ensure a safe, non-slip grip and thus make the thermostat easier to use. Thanks to their shape, their position tells the user at a glance whether the water temperature exceeds the limit of 38 degrees Celsius. All in all, the thermostat’s modern design language is an excellent fit with all of Grohe’s sprays and fittings, thus allowing the various bathroom features to be coordinated with one another.
The XL bathtub waterfall is a particularly striking eye-catcher. The extra-wide spout merges seamlessly with the bath mixer and creates a broad, flat flow of water in its natural form. The optional EasyReach shower tray is placed on the wall rosettes, thus closing the gap between the thermostat and the wall. Both aesthetic and practical, this additional storage space is ideal for keeping the shower gel and shampoo close at hand.
Grohtherm 2000 is available in numerous variants for both exposed and concealed installation. You can see this and other product novelties at the imm cologne (14.-20.01.2013) in Pure Village, hall 3.1, booth A-040.
