After working in product management at a brand-name company in the sanitary sector for some years, Frank A. Reinhardt simply wanted to publish an original observation. All at once, he found himself recruited in a freelance capacity and eventually as a freelance editor for such publications as SBZ (Sanitär Heizung Klima / Sanitation Heating Ventilation) and design report and went into business for himself in 1999, focusing on projects ranging from trend and market studies, the conception and editing of special publications. Today he is a sought-after publicist and jury member for a variety of competitions and other selection panels.

It doesn’t matter whether the consumer prefers a bathroom with a seamless, homogeneous look or a stylish arrangement mixed with vintage elements: thanks to the wealth of variants and extremely complex product ranges on the market there is a solution for nearly any type of setting.

The theme of individualism in the bathroom is the overarching connection between different trends that we believe will be very influential. On the one hand there are megatrends like digitalisation, demographic developments or ecologically motivated behaviour, which are having a lasting impact on the way bathrooms are used and designed. On the other hand, various trends at product level support the very strong development towards interpreting the bathroom as cosy living space. The bathroom is becoming a lot more fashionable.
