Sandra Hettinger, who holds a BA in business administration, has been with Villeroy & Boch’s Bath and Wellness division since 1996, working in various positions in sales and marketing. She is currently head of local marketing for Bath & Wellness Central Europe.

Faced with today’s “anything goes” attitude and countless opposite trends, it’s easy to lose your bearings. Customers expect inspiration but don’t want to be dictated to. After all, the bathroom isn’t just a place for spending precious time and relaxing – a new bathroom is also a long-term investment that needs to be thought through carefully.

Giving customers more freedom of choice gives them the flexibility to tailor the bathroom design to their own needs too. Colour is one way to create an individual bathroom. Besides providing orientation and style confidence, the Artis colour concept and “colour on demand” bathtubs from Villeroy & Boch provide plenty of freedom for personalised design as well. But light, materials and finishes can also be used to plan feel-good bathrooms that take individual needs into account.
